I hope when you look at the Gospel of Mark next, you will look at it with new eyes, with a fresh beginning.

Following Jesus may mean being exposed to severe perils, sometimes physical, and always spiritual in nature. So, we, too, must expect to encounter perilous conditions and fierce trials.
I’m engaged in this study of the biblical book of Mark. I’m reminded of so many simple truths. I’m also understanding more and more how Jesus came with such focus and determination.
When we walk in disobedience, we partner not with God, but with Satan. This is a losing deal producing pain, heartache and emptiness.
We should all learn self-discipline in our walk with the Lord and spend time alone with HIm praying, praising, reading and learning, seeking His guidance.
Through the Holy Spirit and Jesus, I can have peace with God. What better gift could I receive in my entire life?
