This whole podcast hosting thing is still new to me. And after three months of uploading a steady flow of episodes beginning at the beginning with Creation and following that up with Adam and Eve, my intent was to move straight into teaching about Cain and Abel. But, as I said at the start, at times I would break my flow to talk about current news. So that’s what I’m doing. Censorship, however, isn’t entirely new.
It is really tightening up, though, and snuffing out our voices while violating the first amendment.
I can tell you first hand.
I haven’t spoken up about it before now, because I was making a sense of it all. Censorship seems to be getting worse, and I’m sharing my experience because I think something big is cooking in the pot. Back in early June when restrictions were beginning to ease, and we could socialize I did a lot of it. The stories that were being shared were beyond my comprehension. The numbers that were coming down from the coronavirus didn’t seem to justify the measures being taken.
I felt the need to do a little research.
A friend told me I should write a book about it. Since I’m a writer, I thought that was a good idea. So that’s what I did. I gathered stories, conducted interviews, collected data. It was astounding. I spend endless hours putting it all together. No agent would touch it. They said it was well-written, ambitious, engaging, clever.
Part of my intent for writing it was to give us a record to look back on. Like any good historian would do, just like back in the other wars. Stories still come out from the tragedies of the “great” wars. Our battles rage on. Families are being torn apart. Divided. Business owners, even the most successful ones, are done for. Fear abounds. I wanted to give people hope.
So I posted my book, Losing the Old Normal: Dissecting the Coronavirus that Made the World Stand Still on Amazon. If you want to know more about it, you can find it on my website. I advertised on Facebook/Instagram, YouTube, Google and Amazon. All platforms rejected it. Amazon told me to take it down. All said the subject was too sensitive!
More than videos of people committing suicide? People posting indignant photos of themselves? Of beheadings? Death and murder? And pornagraphy? Is someone really going to get hurt or be put in harms way if they learn about the data surrounding the pandemic?
With my heart in my mouth, I wrote the book. I dissect the virus and all things related. This podcast covers my thoughts on such censorship. I must speak now, or forever hold my peace. I think free internet is soon to be a thing of the past. One day not far off it will be a platform only for the leftists. We will be forced into One thought for all to comply to. Digital free speech is fading quickly. Who knows for how much longer my podcast will be considered legal. And my faith.
