The Prince of Persia, or Babylon, if you please, is the sovereign of this world. His
royalty has infiltrated ever institution on this planet. Full stop. He imitates Christ on
every level; through mammon, pressure, manipulation, conspiracy, sorcery, the
occult and deception, he succeeds.
One deception falls under the heading of Replacement Theology. Replacement
Theology teaches us that the Church is the New Israel. Due the rejection of their
Anointed King, Israel forfeits any inheritance or blessings and they pass along to
those choosing to serve the Anointed King, the ekklesia, or ones called out.
Moreover, Replacement Theology teaches that anyone who walks under the New
Covenant is a true child of Abraham. The nation of Israel in the Old Testament was
merely the seed where faith sprouted out. The present church under this theology is
claimed to be the new trustee as the spiritual blessings of Israel have been blotted
out. From the Day of Pentecost on, God was finished with Israel. She was replaced.
Since she was replaced, Yahweh has no plans for her. Israel has no future.
Unfortunately, this is mainstream thinking within Christian circles today as
Replacement Theology is what the majority is being taught in the assembly. It is
nothing new, in fact it has its origins as far back as the 2nd Century. We can see anti-
Semitism from the church fathers. Many were Hellensitic.
The Church Cuts Ties with Jews
Marcion of Sinope wanted to make sure Christians had no ties with Jews
whatsoever, ordering a complete separation from Judaism; the influential Justin
Martyr claimed God was finished with Israel; Tertullian blamed the Jews for the
crucifixion of Christ; Origen was gnostic in this teachings and accused the Jews of
plotting to kill Christians; Eusebius linked the fall of the nation of Israel to the
crucifixion; John Chrysostom caused riots against the Jews in Constantinople and
surrounding areas where many Jews were brutally killed or had their houses burnt
down and Hitler based his Nazi missions on Chrysostom’s anti-Semitic teachings;
Jerome suggested Jews be punished until they make a confession for Christ;
Augustine of Hippo proclaimed the Jews deserved to die but instead God chose them
to wander aimlessly only to witness their promises from YWHW being handed to the Church.
These above statements are unsupported by Scripture, yet they have spanned nearly two thousand
years right on up to our time. If you have ever studied Church History even in part,
these names will jump out at you. Some churches format their doctrines around these religious men and their teachings.
