There are also things you can do to that seed that do not help it at all or keep it buried. It stays immature. That doesn’t mean you go look for more seed. You must nurture it.
Jesus taught that to just give the seed spirit or to just give it truth is no sign of anything. God is looking for the one who has both. This man he can really use. The Holy Spirit helps us to keep our life in balance.
How we do worship in spirit and in truth?
A verse in Mark 12:30 really gives us a clearer picture. “And you shall love the Lord Your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.”
Broken down it looks like this:
The person of the Trinity, God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit should be ever present on your mind. In Mosaic Law God instructs the head of the household to teach his son the law from the moment he raises to the time walking down the road to the hour the sun sets. All through the day. God is to be ever-present and the forethought of his mind.
Also, when we worship like this, there is little room for the devil to come in and plant bad seed in our minds.
The passionate part is what most people are good at, and this usually only takes place in big gatherings. This, again, is unbalanced. We do not have to be loud, jump up and down or speak in tongues to love the Triune God passionately. It is such a love for God, again, all through the day, that nothing else can take its place.
It is a passion that matures so steadily that nothing can sway or disturb it. It is the kind of passion that doesn’t get interrupted. No television program, meeting, dinner date, social media, computer game or shopping spree matches it. It is when you have such a love for truth that you accept no alternative. No compromise. You want to set a time aside for God and seek him. It is the real “meat” and your spiritual protein dose for the day.
It is you, all alone, desiring to know your Savior. All by yourself. Digging in with pray, fasting, studying. It is a discipline that seems hard at first, but reaps and reaps rewards. In fact, it is here where true prosperity comes.
Worshiping the Three-in-One practically is altogether where people get lost. When you watch your child play, doesn’t it bless you? To hear their laughter ring. It also blesses your Creator. When children do this, they are worshipping God. It may not be their intent, but that is what he created them to do.
Watch this space…
