Adrenal Fatigue-The Unseen Binder

While standard modern medicine has advanced to amazing heights over the centuries, there are still some things it has to learn. Because of this, most of us are probably thankful for the wealth of information to be found surfing the web. Certainly we can make a misdiagnosis while trying on our amateur doctor’s gowns, but this is no different from standard medicine.

In fact, many are walking wounded and share the same story, modern medicine can’t find out their problem. They report symptoms of fatigue, headaches, insomnia, muscle aches and pains, dizziness, backache, nausea, tremors, swelling and bloatedness, constipation and diarrhea. These come and go at random, trading places throughout the day.

Most health practitioners, especially those linked to naturopathy, agree that it must be something within the diet. We all know the good eating pyramid, to load our daily intake with fruit and veg, a little carbs, a little protein, lots of fiber and to drown in water.

Most of us fail at this either for lack of care or convenience. Our schedules are often unrealistic and this is added stress upon stress. If you have any of the above conditions, consider this: an elimination diet. We will look into this in my next health blog, but chances are by eliminating sugar, milk, processed foods, even food high in simple carbohydrates for a time, will help you regain your strength and rest your adrenal glands which most likely are being over-worked and wearing out.
